There are a few members of the Delaware Etsy Street Team that are also members of the Saturday Night Specials Etsy Team.

Kristen from Aquariann is on the SNS Team.
Marsha from MarshaNealStudio is on the SNS Team.
Being part of these "event" teams over on Etsy.com allows members to gather at a specific time - this SNS Team is every Saturday Night - from 5pm EST Sat to 6am EST Sun.
SNS Team Members login on Saturday at 5pm EST and add their shop to the weekly thread where they list their shop, their "Special", and post one item from their shop.

This thread gives visitors a place to go to see visually what shops are participating that week, and what their special offer is. Specials are only allowed to run from 5pm EST to 6am EST - hence - Saturday Night Specials...
Members do not have to participate every week, so if you see something you want - and it's in stock and on sale - you had better buy it up while you can!
